Almost there.

We're finally almost all unpacked and settled in...especially thanks to my family who came out and gave us a HUGE jump start with decorating, organizing and all. I am so behind in blogging, but I'm on vacation from photo editing til Monday--when Bry starts his summer Math Camp to get him ready for his PhD program in a few weeks. In any case, know that things are going really well for our little family here in St. Louis!

My Mom and I are currently here in Québec...to attend the sealing of a dear couple from my greenie ward. And what fun we`re having! It brings back so many good memories being here... Oh, Quebec will always have a special place in my heart. Bry, thank you for staying home and watching Brie so that I could come. What a guy. Je t`aime! Pictures and such to come, but let`s be honest, I am WAY behind with blogging, so it may be awhile before they`re up. So much has happened in the last month! What a whirlwind!!

Well, we're here...

...in good ol' St. Louis, MO! We definitely had an adventurous trip and time unsettling...I mean unpacking and settling in, but we made it safe and sound and know that we were blessed all along the way. More updates to come.

Tomorrow is the big day. We're almost done packing. WOW we have a lot of stuff. How grateful we are to be taking SO many wonderful memories with us. St. Louis here we come... almost.

Happy 4th of July!!!

**Yesterday we went four wheeling, made chicken & rice in our dutch oven, roasted s'mores and camped out in our backyard with Rach, Tim and BRIE. First time camping with her! She slept well, but got us up around 6:30 with the sun. But hey, we did it...we camped as a little family :0) **

Less than two weeks til we move...and it's starting to hit. AAAAHH! Can we say major mixed emotions?!

Mutti Meilicke.

Ever since I have known Bry he has told me about Mutti Meilicke, his "German Grandmother." She is a member from Prenzlau (his first & last area on the mission). They have had many a conversation over Skype...talking about callings, jobs, Brie and all the adventures of life. She has been a sort of surrogate Mom for Bry and I've always wanted to meet her.

Finally, a little over a week ago (24 June), Brie and I got to meet Bry's Mutti Meilicke. It was great to hear about her traveling adventures. Every four years she has enough money saved up to come to the US to do a grand tour. This time she visited Florida, Philadelphia, Washington DC, Sacramento, San Francisco, San Diego, Las Vegas and Utah. Crazy, eh? I'm glad that we were one of her stops. She is a dear, sweet and spunky lady :0) I can see why Bry loves her! It's really something how the church brings all types of people together and makes the World a much smaller place. We are one big family after all.

My Buddy, my Buddy...

Do you remember those commercials from the 90's? Well around our house these days we should be singing, "My baby, my baby...wherever she goes, I go too!" Several months ago Em and my mom bought this baby doll set at Costco and decided it was finally time to give it to Brie. It is her FAVORITE thing EVER!
