Treasure Hunting, take 4.

The other day (9 Feb) Bry listened for Alex while Brie, Tiffany, Laura, Meghann and I headed over to the Outlet.  We had a great time treasure hunting for ourselves and for each other.  Here are my treasures for this round:

1 pair brown leather boots
1 brown Liz Claiborne belt
1 pair of red leather woven shoes
1 striped button up shirt

1 pair of red workout/lounge capris
1 pillowcase
1 {NEW} mini leather photo album
1 mini dump truck
1 toddler toy tool bench
1 heart belt for Brie
--------------------------
$5.84  TOTAL

New boots and new belt...and my 38 week baby bump ;0)

the stockings were hung...

This year I decided it was time to have some Graden family stockings.  So after hours of crocheting I came up with these beauties.  J/K!  Don't even know how to crochet.  Actually on Pinterest I saw the idea of taking an old sweater (I got mine from "the Outlet"), cutting out the form of a stocking and sewing around the edges.  So that's what we've got here.  I wanted each one to have a little personality...they definitely do, some even bordering on a little odd ;0)--especially Bry's--but oh well.  Instead of stitching a name into each one (I was tired of sewing after stitching them all up by hand), I decided to print out a picture.  Plus, I can change out the picture with an updated one each year.  A bell (from the Dollar Tree) a few scrap ribbons and voilà, our stockings...

(had to include a baby bump picture of me for this year's stocking)

P.S. Does anyone else LOVE opening their stocking Christmas morning?  It's one of my favorite things ... probably because my Mom always finds the cutest, most thoughtful things.

treasure hunting, take 3.

So I've been to the outlet more than 3 times, but I think this is the third list I've posted.  In any case, my Mom, Laura and I went treasure hunting a few weeks ago, and here's a list of the goods I got...

Me
2 maternity shirts
2 sweaters*
1 pair of maternity pants
1 {maternity} skirt
1 pair of exercise pants

Bry
3 shirts*

Brie
1 pair of pants
3 shirts
1 “tinkerbell” outfit

Alex
1 long-sleeved onesie
1 fire truck
1 police car

Baby Boy
1 pair snuggly jammies
2 pairs of adorable crib bumpers (1 for boy, 1 for girl---didn’t know the gender yet ;0))

Misc.
4 pillow cases

Grand total:
$14.69

**random side note: One funny thing about the "Outlet" (or "the Dive" as my Mom called it ;0)) is that on some items you can't quite tell if it's for a man or a woman.  For instance, the Abercrombie & Fitch shirt I got for Bry...that he put on and looked great in, but noticed that the buttons were on the opposite side as usual...not so sure if it's for a man or a woman.  And a brown zippered-sweater I wore last week?  Kept thinking that maybe I was wearing a man's sweater.  Hmm.  Oh well. Just keepin' things exciting ;0)**

(I didn't take a picture of all the stuff this time...
so here's me wearing one of the shirts I got.  Ann Taylor Loft)

black dress {garage sale}, tulle slip {made it}, shoes {hand-me-down}
