like the Widow's mites.

About a week and a half ago we found our house!! (More details to come...) We are beyond thrilled :0)
After getting home from our house hunting trip we were all on cloud nine.  One morning while getting ready I was looking around our upstairs bathroom and thinking, "wow, I can't wait to leave this dingy bathroom behind."  Right then an impression entered my mind.  I thought of the Widow and her two mites.  Compared to other people, those two mites amounted to very little, but they were what she had to give, and she gave them lovingly and willingly.  I thought of our apartment being that widow and although older and smaller and lacking in many ways, our apartment had given us its very best. Sure it's been tight and caused MANY moments of frustration, it hasn't had every convenience that I would have liked, but it has given us its all and I am grateful.

The upside of having a CAT*...

...in your front yard is that your soon-to-be 3 year old boy will be thrilled!! :0)

 *CAT 304E Excavator

The downside would be having your sewer pipe cracked (thankfully repaired within a few hours) and your internet line severed (and still unfixed) by the said CAT.  Thank heavens for our sweet neighbor, Jocelyn who is letting us use her Wi-Fi in the interim.

Since it's Alex's birthday in a few weeks I had to start my blog catchup with this post.  He sure LOVES his mighty machines :0)
