365 days.

Last week when a lot of my friends were posting "first day of school" pictures, it dawned on me that my-all- day-every-days with Brie will not last forever.  I decided that for the next 365 days I wanted to make my almost daily mother-daughter time priority.  That doesn't mean that each day we're going to do something extravagant, but I want to put a little more thought into how we spend our time together.  Some days will be winners and others will be lacking, but the goal is to connect with my Breebsie.  Here is what we've been up to since then...

365 days: realized that I only have 365 days until Brie starts Kindergarten and my little girl is no longer with me all day every day :0(
364 days: we found and organized the whole alphabet from the Scrabble box then went through the different signs and sounds of each letter (the Rabbit in the Rain Sipped a Smoothie through a Straw...)
363 days: picked her little sleeping self up from the living room floor where she'd fallen asleep, snuggled her up on my lap and enjoyed napping with my sweet Brie.
362 days: played airplane as two flight attendants for her stuffed animal friends :0)
361 days: no one on one time on Sunday :0(  We'll have to see if we can remedy this.
360 days: played Brie's Winnie the Pooh video game together
359 days: made and baked Spritz {sp?} cookies to freeze for future tea parties
358 days: colored in "sending lots of hugs and smiles" cards
357 days: took dinner to Heather, played Brie's Winnie the Pooh video game for a few minutes, played a made up matching game with Brie's princess erasers. (8/22)
356 days: otter pops, practicing our ABCs (dry erase) and playing in the sink with our "balloons" (empty otter pop wrappers), funnels, cups and water.
355 days: played a version of the aim and spray game outside.
