my four littles.

Tonight the kiddos and I watched "Kung Fu Panda" snuggled up on the couch downstairs.  Alex was next to Brie, I was next to Alex, Lij was sitting by outstretched legs as I held Aimee.  After the movie finished (and I woke up ;0)...I often fall asleep during movies, especially these days) it was so sweet to look around at those four little people.  These four little children who call me mom.  Yes we have our hard moments every day, but God is helping me to see and savor so many sweet ones as well.

I got Elijah nestled in his peapod, stroked Alex's head as I said goodnight, prayed with Brie, then nursed Aimee and held her close...whispering how grateful we are for her, how much we love her.  Life is good.  God is good.
