The other night (8 Dec.) we had over the Duartes (a cute family from El Salvador that Bryan home teaches) to take part in the fun Christmas tradition of decorating sugar cookies. I think it was their second time ever making/decorating cookies and they loved it! It was fun for us to watch them have such a good time.They even decided to make us into a little "gingerbread" cookie family :0). Here we are...

I made gingerbread houses with my Japanese students and it was so much fun. They were way more creative than their American counterparts. It makes for a nice family tradition.
